A/B Pick Stores
This dashboard allows you to pick stores that are similar to use in the Campaign Analysis Dashboards. These will help assure you that you are picking a good set of stores to use as a control group vs. an experiment group. Some questions you can answer:
-
What stores are most alike, in terms of demographics, to be used in my campaign analysis store groups?
-
What stores have similar sales as well as similar locations to be used by store groups for my campaign analysis?
When running a campaign analysis, you want to pick stores that are most alike to be in your control and test groups. Maybe you want to only look at stores that had over $1500 in sales in the last 6 months of your product. Below we can see how to assess which stores are right for which groups.
Geographic Locations
When picking stores, keep in mind that they should be similar in sales, as well as similar locations. The stores that stick out as being similar are the 2 stores near Renton on the map.
Units and Sales
By filtering on just those stores near Renton, we find that these two stores are about $3000 difference in dollar sales over the last 6 months, and the unit difference is a little less than 1000. From here you can decide which store to keep as your control store, and which one to test.
Gender Customer % and Generation Customer %
Use these two graphs to review the demographics between the two stores (these will display data from the last 365 days regardless of filters).
