About this Dashboard

What You'll Find Here

This dashboard provides a quick overview of your store's customer data. It breaks down your total revenue into two key components: the total number of customers and the average amount each customer spends at your stores.

Why You Need This

Use this dashboard to gain insights into these two crucial metrics. It can help you answer questions like:

  • Have my customer counts been increasing recently?
  • How much has the average basket size grown for shoppers at the store?
  • Which demographic segment is driving the most revenue for me?

Example Analysis using Topline Customer Trends at One Location

Imagine you want to assess whether your marketing efforts, new product offerings, and promotions have led to an increase in customers and basket size. The visual below displays customer counts and average basket size over a specific 3-week timeframe, considering all available genders and age groups.

From the graph, it's evident that your efforts paid off, as both customer count and basket size increased during the selected period.

Example Analysis using Demographic Revenue Breakdown

In this example, you're interested in understanding the revenue generated by different generations of female shoppers at your store over the past year.

Notice that the highest revenue is fairly evenly distributed among three generations.

Now, let's see if this trend holds true recently by adjusting the filter to the last 1 month.

Surprisingly, the graph below reveals that shoppers aged 36-45 have contributed significantly more to the recent revenue among female shoppers. To understand this group's purchasing habits better, you may want to explore their product preferences in a dashboard like "Demographic Selection” and “Produce Purchase Behavior.”

By leveraging this dashboard, you can make informed decisions and tailor your strategies to specific customer segments more effectively.
