Overview - Location Details

The Location Details dashboard offers an in-depth overview of your retail location(s) performance. It closely resembles your daily summary email report, providing you with valuable insights into the performance of your store(s).

Why You Need This

This report is invaluable for obtaining a comprehensive view of sales at any given location. It covers a wide range of metrics, including revenue, transaction counts, top-performing products and categories, as well as the performance of your highest-earning budtenders.

Date Range: Use this filter to specify a particular date or time frame for your analysis. The filter offers multiple pre-fix options such as "is in range," "is in the last," "is previous," etc.

Note: When using the "is in range" option, please be aware that the chosen date range will include all dates up to, but not including the end date. For example, to analyze data from January 1st to January 31st, you should set the end date to February 1st.

Date Granularity: This allows you to group the data from your selected date range by day, week, month, quarter, or year.

Store: Use this filter to select the specific store location you wish to run the report for. Leaving this filter blank will include data from all locations on your account.

Summarize By: When analyzing multiple store locations, you have the flexibility to group them in different ways. You can group them separately by each location using the "Store" option, by city, state, or province, or by market type (med or rec). If you want to view all locations combined, you can select the "All" option.

Brand/Vendor: This filter allows you to view data organized by brand or vendor.

After selecting your filters from left to right and running the report, you will find the summary section at the top of the page. Here, you'll discover statistics for each location you have chosen in your store filter. This includes revenue, cost, profit, gross margin %, units sold, transaction counts, average units per transaction, and average ticket amount.

The report also features a sales history graph, broken down according to your granularity filter (day, week, month, etc.). Hovering over each point on the graph provides revenue totals and gross margins.

As you scroll down the report, you will find a list of top products across all locations selected in the store filter. This list is sorted by the highest revenue. If you wish to sort this table by another metric, you can simply click on the arrows in the column header.

The only tile in this report that does not adhere to your date range filter is the hourly transaction heat map. This visual representation, based on the previous 28 days' sales, highlights your busiest hours as the lightest areas on the map. To view transaction counts for each day of the week and hour of the day, hover your mouse over any given section.

By utilizing the Location Details dashboard, you can gain valuable insights into the performance of your retail location(s), enabling data-driven decision-making to enhance your business's success.
